Last modified:
July 2020

The CEF eInvoicing building block supports public administrations in complying with eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU, in particular new European standard on electronic invoicing (EN).

This action supported the implementation of the EN in existing eInvoicing solutions as well as uptake of eInvoicing solutions by public authorities in Croatia. It updated the eInvoice Exchange Hub to make it compliant with the EN and to integrate it with the eDelivery building block in order to facilitate cross-border eInvoicing. Moreover, new users were on boarded to use existing eInvoicing solutions. 4 local and regional authorities (Zagreb, Kamanje, Petrijanec and Bjelovar-Bilogora) integrated their solutions with eInvoice Exchange Hub and 6 contracting authorities (Zagreb, Kamanje, Petrijanec, Bjelovar - Bilogora, Region of Istria and ViK Split) started to use e-Invoicing central web portal. In addition the EN was implemented in the existing IN2 eInvoicing components, which was also used by for 2 procuring authorities (Region of Istria and ViK Split).

The action built on the results of the Action 2015-HR-IA-0048 and further integration with the eInvoicing Exchange Hub are foreseen under Action 2017-HR-IA-0143.
