eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU

Last modified:
July 2020

The CEF eInvoicing building block supports public administrations and solution providers in complying with eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU, in particular new European standard on electronic invoicing (EN).

The Action upgraded Saphety eInvoicing solution (SaphetyDoc) to the European eInvoicing standard (EN), ensuring the compliance of this solution provider with eInvoicing Directive 2014/55/EU. This solution was integrated with the ERPs (Enterprise Resource Planning) of 7 hospitals (from Portugal and Spain) and 25 suppliers (from various countries), enabling the automation of manual processes and receiving of EN compliant eInvoices.

Moreover, the Action allowed Saphety to deploy eDelivery Access Points (of AS2 and AS4 profiles) and to become member of the OpenPEPPOL community. This should facilitate the exchange of electronic invoices between the public administration and suppliers, also with the users from other countries.
