The CEF eDelivery building block supports public administrations and private companies to exchange electronic data and documents with other public administrations, businesses and citizens, in an interoperable, secure, reliable and trusted way.

The main objective of the Action was to promote the use of the eDelivery DSI (Digital Service Infrastructure) amongst both private and public entities by implementing six new Access Points, integrating the AS4 protocol, and their respective Service Metadata Publishers (SMP). The private entities of the MADE consortium specialized in Integration Brokerage (EDICOM, BIZbrains, Officient, Aksesspunkt Norge, eConnect and Unimaze) introduced the AS4 protocol in their solutions and developed their SMPs according to the eDelivery AS4 specifications. The implemented solutions are aligned to the CEF eDelivery building block and to the eIDAS Regulation (Regulation EU 910/2014 on electronic identification and trust services).

Thousands of European companies now have access to the cross-border exchange of electronic documents in a secure and interoperable way due to the eDelivery specifications implemented by the beneficiaries.
