The Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN) connects frontline practitioners from across Europe with one another, and with academics and policymakers, to exchange knowledge, first-hand experiences and approaches to preventing and countering violent extremism in all its forms.
RAN celebrates its 10-year anniversary ‒ High Level Conference 2021
The RAN is a network of frontline practitioners who work daily with both those vulnerable to radicalisation and those who have already been radicalised.
RAN is structured around nine thematic Working Groups, driven by a Steering Committee (SC) chaired by the European Commission.
The RAN YOUNG Platform is open to the next generation of influential leaders, thinkers and doers in the field of prevention and countering of violent extremism (P/CVE).
The RAN papers consolidate RAN’s expertise and knowledge on radicalisation and violent extremism into an accessible format, providing up-to-date information.

The Radicalisation Awareness Network (RAN) is a network of frontline or grassroots practitioners from around Europe. There are more than 3,200 RAN participants* from around the EU.
As a practical, evolving and growing tool, the RAN Collection offers practitioners, policymakers and researchers the opportunity to draw inspiration from existing practices and to find examples adaptable to their local/specific context.
