Toxicokinetics is the study of how potentially toxic substances can enter the body and how they are dispersed when taken in by an organism. A full toxicokinetic analysis is complex and may cover the absorption and distribution of a substance, any metabolic reactions which affect it, and its final elimination through excretion.
