Lepota in zdravje: varnost kozmetičnih izdelkov

Dr Qasim Chaudhry, podpredsednik znanstvenega odbora za varstvo potrošnikov in predsednik delovne skupine za nanomateriale v kozmetičnih izdelkih

Evropska komisija je neodvisni znanstveni odbor za varstvo potrošnikov pred kratkim zaprosila, naj pripravi mnenje o varnosti nanooblik silikagela, hidratiranega silikagela, površinsko obdelanega silikagela (sililata in dimetil sililata). Te nanodelce uporabljajo v kozmetičnih izdelkih za lase, kožo, ustnice, obraz in nohte.

Evropska komisija znanstveni odbor navadno zaprosi za mnenje, kadar se pojavijo pomisleki glede varnosti neprehrambenih izdelkov široke potrošnje, tudi kozmetičnih izdelkov in njihovih sestavin. V Evropski uniji je uporaba nanomaterialov v kozmetičnih izdelkih zakonsko urejena. Vsi [...]
