Description
: The requirements of the existing Israel Standard, SI 16232, dealing with infant swings, shall be declared mandatory. This declaration is in line with the mandatory standardization objective to protect public safety. The standard specifies the safety requirements and the corresponding test methods for infant swings intended for children up to a weight of 9 kg or unable to sit up unaided. It adopts the European Standard EN 16232: 2013 and A1: August 2018 with a few national changes and deviations that appear in the standard's Hebrew section.Objectives
