During its lifecycle, an event may be in one of the following statuses:
Awaiting approval - the initial event status generated whenever a SUBMIT action is performed.
Approved - your event has been validated by your NC and is published on the website.
Rejected\Deleted - event rejected by your NC or cancelled by you.

National and regional event
is an event that will take place in your country under the umbrella of European SME Week
European-level event
is an event organised by EU institutions and/or EU-level organisations and bodies and approved by the European Commission only.
Cross-border event
is an event organised by 2 or more participating countries. Such events are approved by the National Coordinator(s) in the country where the event is going to be held (the venue).
International event
is an event organised by at least 1 participating country and one or more countries other than the 37 participating in the European SME Week programme. Such events are approved by the National Coordinator(s) in the country where the event is going to be held (the venue).

You can add event editions in case the same event is taking place at different venue or at a different date. Each event edition will be published as a distinct event.
Select the country where the event is going to be held. The National Coordinator(s) of this country will approve/reject the event. The venue country can only be one of the above selected involved countries.
Enter the name of the city where the event will be held.
Describe the place and full address where the event will be held. Check using Google Maps that the address you have provided is correct.
Choose the start and end date of your event. The end date should be after or (for 1-day events) equal to the start date.
Choose the start and end time of the event (any hour and minute). By default, events start at 9:00 and finish at 17:00.

Select the language(s) that will be used during the event. Use the Ctrl key to select several languages, if need be.
Enter the general title/name of the event. Maximum 250 characters are allowed (if not enough, then shorten the title)
Describe the event's objectives and expected audience. Maximum 3000 characters are allowed. Use the online editor toolbar to format the text.

Please enter your name and surname (or the name and surname of the person responsible for organising the event). The EC supervisor and the National Coordinator(s) in your country will use these details to contact you/the organiser directly to review and agree on specific event-related matters.

Enter a contact phone number for all questions relating to the event. This information will NOT be published on the public website but may be used by the National to contact you directly.

Enter the estimated number of participants expected at the event. Enter a figure(e.g. 1200) without thousands separators like "." or ",".
You can attach multiple documents/files to an event (e.g. the event agenda, guidelines, a poster, etc). Please enter a title in English. In order to attach an artefact you need to browse for the file on your local hard drive and provide a title. Maximum size 2 MB. Only JPG,JPEG,GIF,PNG,DOC,PDF,PPT,XLS,DOCX,PPTX,XLSX files are accepted.
Enter the organisation/partner that will be holding the event. Maximum 250 characters are allowed.
Select the type of event organiser (one type only). The list is alphabetical ("Other" appears last). If you select "Other", please enter a description (mandatory).
Select YES or NO if the organiser is (or not) a partner of Enterprise Europe Network(EEN)
If the event-holding organisation has a website, enter the corresponding URL here.
You can attach a logo for the main organisation / partner organisation(s). Maximum size 100 Kilobytes. Only JPG,JPEG,GIF,PNG files accepted. If the image width and height are too large, it will be automatically adjusted during the display.
Edit
You can edit your event at any time, to correct or update information, but if the event was already approved (and published) on the website, then on Edit and Save, the event will go into waiting for approval status and will disappear from the list of published events. The National Coordinator(s) will have to reapprove it before it can be republished.
Cancel/Delete
If your event is cancelled for any reason, even if it is already published, clicking Cancel/Delete will remove it from the list of published events. Later, you can edit the event, resubmit it, and it will be republished once approved by the National Coordinator.

Check what your event will look like once approved and published on the European SME Week website.

Submit
Once you have successfully submitted an event, a confirmation email will be sent to the contact email address specified on the event form.
By accessing that unique event URL, you can modify the event details at any time, and check the event status.
After submission, the event status will be waiting for approval until approved by the National Coordinator of the country where the event will be held. Once your event is approved, you will receive another confirmation email and your event will be published on the European SME Week website. If you feel that your event date is approaching and it has not yet been approved, you can contact us.
If your event is rejected, you will receive an explanatory email. You can then edit the event information, update it as requested by the National Coordinator(s), and resubmit it for approval.
