Description of the measure The creation of a system of promotion and reinforcement of entrepreneurship at AUEB with actions to develop culture and positive attitudes, information, training and support for the students (undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral) with the ultimate aim of developing positive attitudes and entrepreneurial culture and the undertaking of entrepreneurial initiatives.

Objectives • Development of entrepreneurship in university community. • Promotion of the concept and culture of entrepreneurship. • Development of entrepreneurial skills. • The involvement of young people in new entrepreneurial actions, developing their personality and career and promoting the development of the Greek economy.

10. Target group All AUEB students (undergraduate, post-graduate and doctoral), faculty members and people outside the university with an interest in entrepreneurship seeking the support from the Unit.

Please give information on results and achievements. - Activation of students and wider university community concerning entrepreneurship - Establishment of new enterprises by students and AUEB graduates - Distinction of university students in international entrepreneurship competitions - First public educational institution to receive a distinction for excellence according to the internationally recognized EFQM entrepreneurial excellence model

Problems that had to be overcome and lessons learned • the need to cultivate entrepreneurial culture and skills that will create a pool for the creation of new entrepreneurial effort was found and emphasis was put on this. • Steady support and continuation of the briefing actions is needed and financial support for development initiatives of young entrepreneurs from the university.
