    La Endocrinología y Nutrición es aquella especialidad médica que abarca el estudio de la fisiología, patogenia , diagnóstico y tratamiento de las enfermedades del sistema endocrino, glandular,  metabólico y todas aquellas derivadas del proceso nutricional. Incluye el conocimiento teórico y práctico las de las correspondientes técnicas diagnósticas, medidas dietéticas y terapéuticas.

    Los especialistas en  Endocrinología y Nutrición tienen una formación en dos áreas de conocimiento muy diferenciadas: Endocrinología y Nutrición Clínica.


    Endocrinology and Nutrition is the medical specialty that involves the study of physiology, pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of diseases of the endocrine, metabolic and glandular system, and all those derived from nutritional process. It includes theoretical and practical knowledge of the relevant diagnostic techniques, dietary and therapeutic measures.

    Specialists in Endocrinology and Nutrition are trained in two areas of highly differentiated knowledge: Endocrinology and Clinical Nutrition.

Each country is responsible for updating information, on its regulated professions, competent authorities and statistics.
