    Description of activities:

    Restauratorius – asmuo, Lietuvos Respublikoje arba užsienio šalyje įgijęs restauratoriaus profesinę kvalifikaciją, turintis Lietuvos Respublikos kultūros ministro suteiktą arba teisės aktų nustatyta tvarka pripažintą restauratoriaus kvalifikaciją. Restauratorius įvertina kultūros vertybių būklę, autentiškumą, istorinę, meninę, mokslinę reikšmę, atlieka būtinus kultūros vertybių technologinius, biologinius, fizikinius ir cheminius tyrimus, nustato kultūros vertybių medžiagas, atlikimo techniką ir būklę, įvertina kultūros vertybių saugojimo ir eksponavimo aplinką, konservuoja ir restauruoja kultūros vertybes naudojantis naujausiais konservavimo mokslo pasiekimais bei taikant tinkamiausius metodus ir medžiagas, vykdo prevencinį konservavimą bei rengia konservavimo programą, rengia kultūros vertybių priežiūros planą, rengia kultūros vertybių būklės aprašus ir iliustracinę medžiagą bei kitą konservavimo – restauravimo dokumentaciją.

    Conservator – person, who had obtained professional qualification of the conservator in the Lithuanian Republic or other foreign country and has been certified by the Minister of Culture or according other law procedures as qualified conservator. Conservator evaluates state of the cultural value, its authenticity, historical, artistic and scientific significance, carries out necessary technological, biological, physical and chemical researches of the cultural value, identifies materials, techniques and status of the cultural value, evaluates the environment of the cultural value, preserves and conserves cultural value referring on the achievements of preservation science applying appropriate methods and materials, implements preventive conservation of cultural value and prepares conservation programmes, surveillance plans of the cultural value, prepares cultural values condition descriptions or other preservation – conservation documentation.
