    Description of activities:

    Hissar och vissa andra motordrivna anordningar ska kontrolleras  innan anordningen tas i bruk första gången, med intervaller på minst sex månader och högst sex år (återkommande besiktning), eller  innan anordningen för första gången tas i bruk efter att ha ändrats (revisionsbesiktning). En besiktning ska utföras av kontrollorgan som ackrediterats för uppgiften.


    Lifts and other motor powered devices shall be controlled before taken into service and in intervals during service and when having been altered. The contol shall be made by an entity that has been approved.

Each country is responsible for updating information, on its regulated professions, competent authorities and statistics.
The Commission cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of the information. However, if errors are brought to its attention, the Commission undertakes to correct them, if deemed appropriate.
