    Utdanning til omsorgsarbeider eksisterer ikke lenger i Norge. Siden 1. juni 2011, har alle søknader om autorisasjon som omsorgsarbeider blitt behandlet som en søknad om autorisasjon som helsefagarbeider. The care worker course does no longer exists in Norway. Since 1. June 2011, all applications for authorisation as a care worker have been processed as an application for authorisation as a health care worker/auxiliary nurse.

    In order to secure the safety of patients, and in order to protect public health, it is necessary to make sure that only professionals who have the required qualifications and training are allowed to exercise the profession.

    • Gi praktisk hjelp og omsorg til mennesker som trenger det • Jobbe med mennesker i alle aldre og i ulike livssituasjoner, barn, voksne og eldre mennesker med ulike funksjonshemminger, sykdommer eller behov for rehabilitering Utdanning til omsorgsarbeider eksisterer ikke lenger i Norge. Siden 1. juni 2011, har alle søknader om autorisasjon som omsorgsarbeider blitt behandlet som en søknad om autorisasjon som helsefagarbeider.
