    Description of activities:
    A klinikai fogászati higiénikus a fogorvosi team tagja. Rendelkezik a szükséges anatómiai-élettani, táplálkozási, fogászati, fogpótlástani, szájsebészeti, szájhigiénés szakmai ismeretekkel, így a klasszikus asszisztensi feladatok ellátásán kívül önállóan - akár saját praxisban is - képes a szájüregi vizsgálatokat és fogászati megelőző eljárásokat alkalmazni, képes a fogászati egészségnevelésre, illetve a fogászati betegek ápolására és gondozására.

    The hygiene professional is a member of the team of dentists. He/she bears the necessary professional knowledge in the field of anatomy- physiology, nutrition, dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, oral hygiene, and this way, above the classical tasks of assistants, he/she is individually – even in an own praxis – able to apply the oral examinations and preventive dental procedures, he/she performs dental health education, nurses and takes care of dental patients.
