    Description of activities:
    • komandēt un vadīt kuģus vai citus peldošos līdzekļus jūrā vai iekšējos ūdeņos;
    • kontrolēt uz klāja vai uz tiltiņa veicamas darbības un piedalīties tajās;
    • vadīt kuģus, izbraucot un iebraucot ostās, braucot pa kanāliem, šaurumiem un citiem ūdeņiem, kur vajadzīgas speciālās zināšanas;
    • nodrošināt drošas iekraušanas un izkraušanas operācijas;
    •  kontrolēt darba aizsardzības noteikumu ievērošanu ar kuģa apkalpes locekļiem un pasažieriem;
    • veikt tehnisko uzraudzību pār kuģa apkopi un remontu, lai nodrošinātu atbilstību specifikācijām un normatīvo aktu prasībām.
