    • Rettlede personalet og påse at arbeidet utføres i samsvar med gjeldende regelverk.
    • Påse at mekanikere oppfyller gjeldende krav til kompetanse, herunder at etterutdanning av mekanikere gjennomføres ved behov.
    • Sørge for at virksomheten til enhver tid har personale som har kjennskap til og ansvar for datasikkerhet og datahåndtering, samt fartskriververkstedets system for kvalitetsstyring.

    • Guiding the other mechanics and making sure the work is performed in accordance with the requirements of the National regulation.
    • Ensuring that the mechanics fulfil the requirements regarding competence, including the refresher training of mechanics when needed.
    • Making sure that the workshop has staff who has knowledge of – and is responsible for – data security and data handling, as well as the workshop’s quality assurance system.
