    Description of activities:

    Gewerbsmäßige Versicherungsvermittlung (§ 34d GewO), d.h. gewerbsmäßige Tätigkeit, die den konkreten Abschluss eines Versicherungsvertrages umfasst, auf ihn abzielt oder zumindest die Möglichkeit eines späteren Vertragsschlusses eröffnet; gewerbsmäßige Versicherungsberatung (§ 34e GewO), d.h. Beratungsdienstleistungen bei der Vereinbarung, Änderung oder Prüfung von Versicherungsverträgen sowie bei der Wahrnehmung von Ansprüchen aus dem Versicherungsvertrag im Versicherungsfall, ggf. auch im Wege der außergerichtlichen Vertretung des Versicherten. Weiteres Merkmal des Versicherungsberaters ist, dass er keinen wirtschaftlichen Vorteil von einem Versicherer erhält oder in anderer Weise von ihm abhängig ist.

    Acts as a commercial insurance broker (Section 34d of the Trade Regulation Act) providing insurance-brokering services within the meaning of Section 34d of the Trade Regulation Act, i.e. whose trade involves any activities that include selling insurance policies, working towards such sales, or opens up the possibility of such sales being closed at a later date (cf. definition of insurance brokering in Article 2, No. 3 of Directive 2002/92/EC). Acts as a commercial insurance adviser (Section 34e of the Trade Regulation Act) providing insurance advice within the meaning of Section 34e of the Trade Regulation Act, i.e. provides advice on the agreement on, modification of and review of insurance contracts, on claims arising from an insurance contract, and/or who represents the insured person in out-of-court proceedings. Insurance advisers do not derive any economic benefit from any insurance provider and are not dependent on insurance providers in any other way.
