    Description of activities:

    Le diététicien, collaborateur de médecins, de gestionnaires ou de chercheurs apporte sa compétence scientifique et technique pour assurer la qualité des aliments et des préparations, l’équilibre nutritionnel, l’établissement de régimes sur prescription médicale et le respect des règles d’hygiène. Personne qui, habituellement, dispense des conseils nutritionnels et, sur prescription médicale, participe à l'éducation et à la rééducation nutritionnelle des patients atteints de troubles du métabolisme ou de l'alimentation, par l'établissement d'un bilan diététique personnalisé et une éducation diététique adaptée. Les diététiciens contribuent à la définition, à l'évaluation et au contrôle de la qualité de l'alimentation servie en collectivité, ainsi qu'aux activités de prévention en santé publique relevant du champ de la nutrition.

    A dietitian, collaborator of doctors, administrators and researchers, brings his scientific and technic skills to ensure the quality of the aliments and preparations, the nutritional balance, the set up of diets under medical prescription and the respect of hygiene. He offeres diet advice, and under medical prescription, participates to the education and nutritional rehabilitation of patients suffering from metabolism and food disorder, by a personalized diet assessment and an adapted diet education. Dietitians contribute to the definition, the evaluation and the control of the food quality that is served in collectivities, as well as the activities of public health prevention in the field of nutrition.
