    Description of activities:

    Specijalizacija kliničke radiologije obuhvaća sve vidove korištenja medicinskih slikovnih metoda u svrhu postavljanja dijagnoze bolesti svih organa i organskih sustava, pružanjem informacija o anatomiji, funkciji i stanju bolesti. Ona isto tako obuhvaća korištenje slikovnih metoda za nadzor intervencijskih procedura. Intervencijske radiološke procedure obuhvaćaju sve endovaskularne i nevaskularne minimalno invazivne metode liječenje koje se vrše pod nadzorom slikovnih metda. Klinički radiolog mora imati dobar klinički temelj kako bi radio u uskoj suradnji s kolegama iz drugih mediicnkih disciplina, i treba biti sposoban sudjelovati u radu multidisciplinarnih timova, s vodećom ulogom u integraciji slikovnim metoda u kliničku obradu bolesnika.

    The speciality of clinical radiology involves all aspects of utilization of medical imaging to dijagnose diseases of all organs and organ systems, by providing information about anatomy, function and diseased states,  as well as utilization of imaging modalities for the guidance of interventional procedures. Interventional radiology procedures accompas all minimally invasive therapy endovascular and non-vascular techniques performed under imaging guidnace. A clinical radiologist requires a good clinical background in order to work in close collaboration with colleagues in other medical disciplines, and should be able to participate in multidisciplinary teams, with a leading role to integrate imaging modalities into clinical management of patients.
