Presentation of the measure:

The objective of the ‘New solutions in city logistics’ project is to develop companies’ transportation to make it cost-efficient and sustainable. The project creates pilots together with operators in the field of logistics for light logistics solutions for the so-called last mile, autonomous distribution traffic, drone distribution and other short-range solutions. In addition to this, a further goal is to assess the business opportunities of various pilots, support the generation of new service entities and find new operational models for cooperation between operators.

The development of light distribution logistics in urban areas supports climate strategies in cities, decreases the number of cars driving in the area and improves people’s safety and comfort in city centres.
