Presentation of the measure:

Large Directive:

With this measure the federal State of Brandenburg supports commercial enterprises, including tourism. The aim of the program is to strengthen the competitiveness and adaptability of the Brandenburg economy. The program will create and secure jobs in the state of Brandenburg.

Investments will primarly go to commercial enterprises, with commercial units in the state of Brandenburg, which belongs to one of the following core areas:

• Energy technology;
• Healthcare;
• ICT / Media / Creative industry;
• Optics;
• Transport / Mobility / Logistics;
• Food industry;
• Plastics / Chemistry;
• Tourism; and
• Metal.

Only projects with eligible expenditure of at least EUR 100,000 will be supported. The funding can be up to a maximum of 15% + 5%. For medium-sized companies, an addition of 10% can be granted on the determined subsidy rates. For small businesses, an addition of 20% is possible.

For SMEs:
The federal state of Brandenburg supports small commercial enterprises, including tourism, with cross-regional markets. The premise is met if more than 50% of the turnover has to come from another region. To be promoted are:

• F ounders of a new business;
• Projects within the field of tourism ;
• Production plants;
• Service companies; and
• Craft businesses.

Only projects with eligible expenditure of at least EUR 60,000 and not more than EUR 2,0 million are legitimated for support.A prportional subsidy is granted on the eligible expenditure. The funding can be up to a maximum of 35% + 5%.
