The Regional Operative Program (ROP) ERDF 2014-2020 is the reference document for the programming framework in the Community Programming period 2014-2020 for Tuscany.
Tuscany has chosen to focus on supporting the business system on the one hand and promote regional interventions to increase the competitiveness of the regional economy, supporting economic, environmental and social innovation.
The regional administration intends to concentrate resources on six thematic areas:

1. Strengthening research, technological development and innovation
2. Improving access to information and communication technologies
3. Promoting the competitiveness of SMEs
4. Supporting the transition to a low-carbon economy in all sectors
5. Qualifying and enhancing the network of great cultural attractors
6. Promoting social inclusion, fighting poverty and all forms of discrimination
