This policy document presents the status quo of demand and supply, and the potential impact of the implementation of Industry 4.0 in Tuscany. The analysis presented is based on a survey carried out by IRPET the Regional Institute for Economic Planning in Tuscany. This document identifies the following priorities for Tuscany with respect to Industry 4.0:
-ICT-Photonics-Robotics
-Smart Factory
These two areas are tightly interconnected in the regional context.
