Investitionsbank Berlin (IBB) is the  business development bank of the federal state of Berlin. With its  business support and subsidy policy, it contributes towards developing Berlin as a business and industry location. Providing support for Berlin-based businesses with demand-orientated business funding and subsidy instruments whilst taking local resources into consideration. This includes creating new, future oriented/sustainable jobs and developing Berlin's attractiveness as a location for business and technology.


IBB offers real estate financing as well as tailored financing for business development activities. In its work IBB focuses on promoting and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with monetary subsidy programmes, finance consultancy and subsidy and loan processing based on commercial criteria. IBB supports primarily innovative and technology-orientated SMEs in Berlin, It offers a wide range of subsidy/grant programmes specifically tailored to the needs of these businesses.
