Madrid aims to contribute to increase the quality of higher education, science, technology and innovation of the region, considered key elements in the competitiveness and well-being of the citizens. The Foundation was created in 2002, and since then it has established a solid network of relationships between members of the academic and industrial environment of the Comunidad de Madrid.
In addition to work towards the aforementioned objectives, it also has been appointed by the regional government to guarantee the quality of higher education through the accreditation of new universities, academic degrees and teaching staff. This new competence has reinforced greatly their commitment with excellence.
