Original name:
Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft MV mbH
Graf-Schack-Allee 12
19053 Schwerin

The Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft MV mbH (MBMV) improves the financial structure of regional companies by providing equity (as silent partnerships) for small and medium-sized industrial enterprises. MBMV offers specific funding for individual projects and phases in different programmes with specific conditions. Particularly innovative companies are targeted.
The Mittelständische Beteiligungsgesellschaft Mecklenburg-Vorpommern mbH programmes are harmonised with the Guarantee Bank (Bürgschaftsbank Mecklenburg-Vorpommern GmbH). This engagement – in cooperation with firms' house banks - enables firms to create a solid financing structure.
MBMV was founded in 1993 as a self-help institution for the small and medium-sized business structure of the federal state. Shareholders are banks and saving banks, insurance companies, and chambers of trade and commerce.

Its main activity is to supply capital for regional companies. These serve as a contribution to regional investment and thus to create and secure employment in the region.
MBMV offers different programmes for the support of regional companies:
- MBMV classic- supports investment in concrete projects;
- MBMV Mikromezzanin- promotes investments in very small and small enterprises and start-ups,
- MBMV targets innovative and technology-oriented companies with its programmes MBMV innoSTART and MBMV innoPRO. While innoSTART targets innovative and technology-oriented activities in small, very small and medium-sized enterprises, innoPRO focuses on the market introduction, production set-up and consolidation.
