Alice Beyer Schuch is a professional with 20 years of international experience and the founder of Cirkla Modo – a consultancy promoting changes for a circular fashion future, based in Hamburg, Germany.

Alice graduated in Fashion Industrial Manufacturing in Brazil, as Fashion Designer at the Italian SDC, and concluded a Master in Sustainability in Fashion in Germany.

From textiles to physics and back to textiles describes Jan’s career path best. He went to a technical school to become a textile worker but became passionate by physics, on which he got a PhD.

The unique combination of textiles & physics brought Jan to Centexbel, a textile technological centre in Belgium. There he started as a researcher in 1993 and became director-general in 2006.

Maria José coordinates national and European I&I projects at the Portuguese Footwear Research Centre (CTCP), where she is responsible for the Test and Research Laboratories.

Her main areas of technical and scientific work include footwear materials and products, standards, advanced manufacturing processes and sustainable development.

Nikolaos Bilalis

Nikolaos Bilalis is Professor of computer aided design and manufacturing and director of the CAD Laboratory in the Department of Production and Management Engineering, Technical University of Crete.

His research interests lie in modern technologies for product and process development, manufacturing and life cycle assessment, 3D modelling for fashion products and their integration in the product development process, and AI in fashion products development.

Paul works as a Senior Expert in Advanced Manufacturing within Agoria’s Innovation Centre of Expertise. He is the main contact point for advanced manufacturing and challenges for manufacturing companies.

Before joining with Agoria, he worked as general manager guiding the transition of a Belgian family SME manufacturing plastic and aluminium window frames, towards a private equity ownership.

Robert Gajewski

Robert has been working in the Polish Institute of Leather Industry for over 25 years. His professional path includes diverse positions in different companies, in which he has familiarised with most aspects of footwear and leather sectors.

He has been member of various committees working for the footwear sector and he took part in the development and implementation of new solutions/technologies in enterprises.
