Selected actions/events
Following the call for submission, the European Commission received 35 concept notes for diverse activities or events. Each action/event was duly assessed in terms of its relevance with ECTY objectives (1/3), its clarity and quality (1/3), and its European dimension as well as expected impact (1/3).
The Commission selected the actions/events listed below for partial support (i.e. support for specific organisational costs) as outlined below.

Call for submissions
We were looking for actions/events organised by tourism-related organisations with a European dimension that underpin the ECTY objectives. Limited support was potentially available for a maximum of 10 relevant actions/events that met our requirements. Our eventual support is restricted to specific organisational costs with a maximum of €30.000 per selected action.
Who could apply?
Actions/events:
- in China or an EU country
- with a European dimension contributing to the ECTY objectives
- without direct commercial purposes
- including outlined concept and involvement of stakeholders and experts
- organised by a legal entity representing at least 14 EU countries
- organised by organisations from an EU country or third country participating in the Programme for the Competitiveness of Enterprises and SMEs (COSME)
Time table
There were 2 deadlines for submission of a concept note:
- 15 May 2018 for actions taking place between August and December 2018
- 15 June 2018 for actions taking place between October and December 2018
We have informed selected applicants in writing by end May and June 2018, respectively.
