This call is for a service contract for a study and a closing conference on the Social Business Initiative (SBI)

The main objective of this contract is to receive an analytical study and a set of validated recommendations that would support further enhancing of business co-operation between social economy enterprises and more traditional, profit-oriented firms.

The specific objectives of the contract are to:

  • Produce a study that will:
    • include an in-depth analysis of the cooperation between traditional and social enterprises
    • define a set of recommendations for the different decision makers
  • Organise a conference with core stakeholders and experts dedicated to discuss the draft study and to validate the proposed recommendations

Expected results of the project include:

  • Better information of the different aspects of the co-operation between social economy enterprises and traditional businesses
  • Help the stakeholders to agree on possible actions to favour this co-operation at all levels (EU, national and regional)
  • Diffusion of best practices in EU countries and companies
