Full title of this call for tenders: Study on the feasibility of possible initiatives at EU level and establishment of a multi-stakeholder platform on quality of tourism accommodation.

The purpose of this study is:

  • to substantiate our understanding of the existing public and private initiatives in the area of tourism accommodation classification
  • to examine the impact of these initiatives on the market
  • to respond to the repetitive inquiries and requests by the European Parliament referring to the inconsistency of existing hotel classification schemes
  • facilitate dialogue and exchange of good practices in classification of tourism accommodation services
