The European Commission held a workshop to reflect on the experiences of the first year of operation of the European Professional Card (EPC) and the accompanying 'Alert Mechanism'.
Event date: 16/05/2017
Location: Residence Palace, Rue de la Loi 155 - 1000 Brussels - Belgium

The Commission launched a public survey on 17 March to gather views on first experiences of both initiatives.

This workshop provided the opportunity to reflect on and to discuss first results of the survey, and the advantages and challenges of the procedures.

Professional organisations representing any of the 5 EPC professions and public authorities involved in the national implementation of the 2 initiatives were invited to participate. Around 140 people attended the event in Brussels.

The presentations from the conference are available below.

Photos from the event and video footage are also available:

The EPC is currently available to general care nurses, physiotherapists, pharmacists, real estate agents and mountain guides.
