National administrations, from Italy, Portugal and Estonia, were the winners of the first edition of the European Commission award for better governance through public procurement digitalisation. Background

The European Commission award for better governance through public procurement digitalisation aims to promote transparency of public contracts at national level, as well as highlight the benefits that come with the digitisation and publication of public procurement data.

This year’s prizes were awarded at the High-level Conference on Digital Transformation of Public Procurement that the Commission organised on 18 October 2018 in Lisbon.
