The study mentioned above includes the cost of updating registrations and extended safety data sheets, as well as identifying other impacts the 2018 registration may have on economic operators. The study shall also assess the impacts of those costs on the competitiveness, innovation and structure of the EU chemicals industry and downstream users. Moreover, the study should identify any benefits the registration may have had for businesses. Based on the evidence gathered, the study will identify factors, which led to particularly high or low cost-effectiveness.
