The City 2017 Conference was hosted by the city of Katowice on 20 and 21 November 2017. Mr Frantisek Kubes, representing the Czech Ministry of Regional Development and the Partnership on Urban Mobility, participated in the panel discussion devoted to the Urban Agenda for the EU.
He presented the current state of the Partnership and stressed the importance of the so-called "second circle". This circle is made up of representatives of governmental levels and stakeholders beyond the Partnership itself. Find his presentation (pdf) here:
The conference allowed the Partnership to present itself to the around 150 participants. In addition, it provided an excellent opportunity to experience exchange between the Urban Agenda for the EU Partnerships on Urban Mobility, Energy Transition, Urban Poverty and Sustainable Use of Land and Nature-based Solutions, as all these Partnerships participated in the panel discussion.
