Currently many technological tech toys are connected to our mobile phones, tablets or directly to the internet. This way their features are enhanced, but this could also imply new risks for all the members of the family who must therefore be aware of these risks and know how to manage them.

In order to satisfy this growing concern, IS4K (INCIBE) in collaboration with the Spanish Toys Makers Association (Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Juguetes, in Spanish) provides this guide for the safe use of connected toys, with tips for families before and after the purchase. This document consists of different sheets that approach different issues to get to know the features of these toys in depth, so that we can know what to look out for when we buy them, set them in safer mode and apply guidelines to enjoy them with fewer risks.

Hoy en día muchos juguetes tecnológicos se conectan a nuestros móviles, tabletas, o directamente a Internet. De este modo mejoran sus prestaciones, pero también implican nuevos riesgos para toda la familia que debemos conocer y gestionar.

Para responder a esta inquietud, el Instituto Nacional de Ciberseguridad (INCIBE), a través de IS4K, en colaboración con la Asociación Española de Fabricantes de Juguetes proporciona esta guía para el uso seguro de juguetes conectados, con recomendaciones para familias antes y después de su compra. El documento se compone de diferentes fichas en las que se abordan distintos aspectos para conocer mejor las funcionalidades de estos juguetes, saber en qué fijarse a la hora de adquirirlos, configurarlos de forma segura y aplicar pautas para disfrutarlos con los menores riesgos.
