The 9th  meeting of the Partnership on Digital Transition took place in Sofia (Bulgaria) on June 28th.

After a general introduction to the meeting, the Partnership members discussed the best way to approach the monitoring phase of the Action Plan. A series of actions were agreed to ensure proper and efficient follow-up prior to the participants’ discussion on the implementation of the Action Plan.

A presentation by Wolfgang Hoefs (from the European Commission) presented the latest updates in funding opportunities for digital transition, including the Urban Innovative Actions call for proposals (expected in October 2018).

The meeting day finalised with the announcement of next steps and calls for action.
