This deliverable covers functional and non-functional requirements, modelling and design for the interaction processes involving main actors and SIMPATICO system.
The deliverable gives a sound overview of the methodology to be used during the project to assess an quantify user interaction for the developer platforms. Parameters and metrics are well defined, applicability and practicability needs to be proven in course of the project.
Nevertheless to research about the state of the art of the DOM manipulation techniques and frameworks is useful, however nowadays there are much more powerful solution which tries to overcome the DOM mutations as it is well known they are computationally expensive. It is also worth to consider frameworks such as AngularJS where the transformation effort is at the template level while the DOM creation tend to happen at the end of processing. One significant solution is to provide a UX which is built based on the history of the user interactions with the initial interface. There is work on rule-based modeling of such interactions and workflow engines can be used to (server-side) compute this. The main workflow is: 1) User interacts with the initial UX, 2) the system log this interaction (Linked Data is very useful as log data) 3) the UX workflow engine, computes the new UX from the current log data, past history and current rules and 5) User get the new UX at his next request for that URL. Moreover, when is about HTML forms one can take a composition approach i.e. sending data when a component get the necessary information rather than the monolithic approach of the standard submit button.
All in one, appropriate work which raised all the necessary questions to be solved in the final version of the platform. Obviously HTTPS should always be used.

The document is well stuctured. The positive aspect is the analysis of the different alternative solutions for the interactive elements. The possibilty of gathering information both from the explicit interaction and from the implicit one is a very interesting field. The first type is deeply investigated and the metrics seems well identified. For the second one (implicit information) the work of identification of possible factors to analyse in the interaction with the web and of the particular interaction events seems exhaustive. At the end, the document throws the bases for a good design platform and related interaction.
