Our mission: InnoSyn is the innovative partner using state-of-the-art-technology in the research and development of new and existing chemical processes for instance metabolite production using biocatalysis.Our approach: We provide services for all phases of process/product/technology development starting from idea generation all the way to running business. Although being a young SME company, we have a proven track record in delivering best-in-class solutions by integration of multidisciplinary teams in every aspect of our services.
What is the innovation
We have developed biooxidations as green and sustainable technology for products from various market segments such as pharmaceutical and nutritional products, Flavour & Fragrance as well as high performance polymers. Starting from identifying new enzymes as biocatalysts, we screened and optimized them for defined target reactions. After producing the biocatalysts on large scale, we performed pilot plant demonstrations of selected, industrially relevant processes. The technology is now sufficiently mature for broad industrial scale application.
Out of the lab. Into the market
InnoSyn is following a three-fold approach to exploit the biooxidation technology developed in the EU-Project ROBOX:
First, we are offering biooxidation technology and the related process development as service to other companies, that are interested in moving to efficient and sustainable synthesis routes. Second, we provide multiple oxidative enzymes as biocatalysts that can be applied for a variety of chemical reactions steps. Last but not least, we are developing own innovative products enabled by biooxidation technology.
Benefits of participation in the Framework Programme
This H2020 Innovation Action provided the unique opportunity to enlarge and demonstrate our existing technology position in biooxidations. We were able to extend our network with leading European university groups as well as attractive SME and Industry business partners. This resulted in collaborations and joint commercial projects with academic as well as SME and industry partners outside the EU H2020 project.This innovation was funded via H2020 project ROBOX
