Funding of Other Measures

The EU may contribute financially to other initiatives necessary for the implementation of the rules related to food chain areas:

  1. support of information systems at EU level (such as Rapid Alert System for Food and Feed).
  2. support technical and scientific work, including studies and coordination activities for the implementation and adaptation of the rules in the food chain area.
  3. information and awareness raising initiatives aiming at ensuring improved, compliant and sustainable behaviour in the implementation of the EU rules in the food chain area.
