Fishlove is an ongoing photographic project that invites global celebrities to raise awareness of how unsustainable fishing practices are destroying the marine environment. The movement calls for legislators and policy makers to choose the path towards a sustainable future for our seas and oceans.
At the opening vernissage on Monday the 21st of October, Commissioner Maria Damanaki, actress Greta Schacchi and Fishlove founder Nicholal Röhl, called upon the European Parliament to vote on the 23rd of October, for a sustainable fisheries budget, supporting the objectives of the reformed Common Fisheries Policy (CFP).
The exhibition will remain in the Berlaymont till the 12th of November 2013.
