Annual enterprise statistics:
These data come from the Structural business statistics (SBS) which are a rich and comprehensive source of information on businesses in the EU.
Data is available at 4-digit level of NACE and includes a wide range of economic indicators, however most economic activities are not exclusively serving to and relying on tourists.
Eurostat is currently exploring ways to integrate SBS and/or STS (short-term business statistics) data for certain so-called 'tourism characteristic activities' in the tourism statistics databases. First results of this exercise are presented in a Statistics in Focus publication: Tourism industries - economic analysis - Issue number 32/2013.
