The Agriculture, forestry and fishery statistics book presents a selection of topical data. Information is presented for the European Union and its Member States, and is supplemented (when available) with data for EFTA countries and for the candidate countries and potential candidate countries to the European Union. This publication is divided into nine chapters, providing facts and figures about farms, farmers, farm production and prices, the performance of the agricultural sector, forestry and fisheries activities, food and beverages processing and the trade in agricultural goods.
