Human Resources Strategy

 

The CSO published the CSO Human Resources Strategy 2004 - 2006 in September 2004. It set out the future direction of the Human Resources function to ensure that it closely reflected the strategy statement and business plans. The objective of the strategy is to guide the CSO towards developing Human Resources policies which support the organisation in adapting to the demands of the business, while helping to enrich the experience of working in the CSO.

Excellence through People

 

The Central Statistics Office achieved the Excellence through People Award in 2005. This prestigious award is a great achievement on behalf of staff. It is an external validation of the commitment and effort of all employees to their own learning and development as well as their involvement, as individuals and part of a team in the continuous improvement of the operation of the organisation.
