null Eurostat migrant integration – education indicators 2014

Eurostat published the migrant integration education indicators for 2014. The indicators reveal significant disparities in the European Union between non-EU citizens and citizens of the reporting country, referred to as "nationals". In particular, the proportion of young non-EU citizens affected by early leaving from education and training is more than twice that of nationals. Young non-EU citizens have also a greater risk of being both out of the education system and not
in employment.

This publication also presents data for each EU Member State when available. Education indicators are part of a series of publications on migrant integration, including labour market, social exclusion, risk of poverty and housing.
