Did Czech Republic reach full employment?
Conditions on the labour market are in favour of job seekers and companies are ready to offer bonuses, increased salary, non-pay benefits such as mobile phones, contributions to sport activities or company kindergarten for families.
In June 2010 few job seekers were succesful in finding a job. There was one vacant job per 15.2 job applicants due to economic recession. Seven years later the job search duration is shorter and there are 1.6 job applicants per vacant job. The Labour Office of the Czech Republic (LO CR) had 183 000 vacant jobs and 297 439 job applicants registered.
