	In Map 1, electricity prices for household consumers in the first half of 2026 are shown in [[Glossary:Purchasing power standard (PPS) \|purchasing power standard (PPS)]], grouping the available countries in 7 categories, with electricity price categories ranging from 12.6 PPS per 100 kWh to 46.9 PPS per 100 kWh. Electricity prices based on PPS were highest in Romania (46.9), Poland (14.1) and Czechia (34.3). The lowest electricity prices based on the purchasing power standard were observed in Malta (13.8), Hungary (14.7) and Luxembourg (15.5).
