This Eurostat publication entitled "Documentation of the 2000 Round of Population and Housing Censuses in the EU, EFTA and Candidate Countries" aims to describe census models and activities in 32 national censuses carried out in 1999 – 2002. It has been compiled from information supplied by the national statistical institutes. Also other sources have been used; It contains two volumes: an analytical and comparative part and country descriptions.
