The "data analytics Workshop for official statistics" (daWos) is a two-day event organised by Eurostat that aims at addressing the challenges and opportunities for the community of Official Statistics in the area of data analytics. It will take place in Amsterdam (The Netherlands) on 10 and 11 September 2018.

In connection with daWos, three satellite events are organised:
- Implementing and showcasing data analytics (Monday morning - 10 September 2018)

Participation and registration
Participation to the workshop and the daWos satellite events is free of charge, but registration via the online interface is a precondition for attendance.
daWos - an official statistics modernisation workshop
This event is the latest in a series of thematic workshops dedicated to the modernisation of official statistics which includes among other events the 2014 and 2016 ESS Big Data Workshops, the 2016 ESS Visualisation Workshop and the ESS Workshop on dissemination of official statistics as open data.
