MEETS ESSnet projects

The MEETS programme (Modernisation of European Enterprise and Trade Statistics) ran over a period of five years from 2009 to 2013.

It focused on the adaption of business statistics to new needs and on the adjustment of production systems in order to reduce costs and to reduce the burden on enterprises.

Grants to collaborative networks of National Statistical Institutes as members of the European Statistical System Network (ESSnet projects) were the most important administrative and financing instrument of the programme.

Via the following links to the ESSnet projects under MEETS you can access objectives and detailed results.

For the overall results of the programme there is also a dedicated website on Statistics Explained under preparation.

Links to it will be added here as soon as the entire site has been published.
