ONS , Eurostat and the ESSnet on Linked Open Statistics invite you to join our upcoming event on the topic of ‘Linked Open Statistical Data in the European Union’.
On 14 and 15 January 2019, trailblazers from National Statistical Institutes from across the European Statistical System will host a two day event in London, which will:
- provide high-level view of the progress on creating Linked Data ecosystems for government statistical data and
- discuss the challenges and opportunities that arise from this work.
Day 1 (14 January) will consist of various show and tells from bodies working on Linked Open Statistical Data, the tools and techniques used and results from recent hack day events.
Day 2 (15 January) will be an informal unconference type event where attendees can pitch ideas or discussion topics to the whole group and bring interested groups together to drill more deeply into the Linked Open Data paradigm. If you wish to pitch an idea or discussion topic to the whole group please contact the organisers at firstname.lastname@example.org before 9 January 2019.
For details, please refer to the workshop programme:
The event is aimed at participants familiar with Linked Open Data but is open to others interested in open data.
